Teams came from 13 states that included Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia.
Teams wrestling in pools of 4 Friday night and Saturday morning, qualifying into 2 - 16 team brackets. Sunday morning the semi-finals in both brackets were contested and Minion Green and Team Hammer came out victorious in the Silver Bracket, with PA West and Great Lakes White advancing in the Gold Bracket.
In the end, PA West went on to win the 2016 AAU Elementary Duals National Championship, with Team Minion Green from Georgia taking home the Silver Bracket Championship.
