AAU Cares: Gobbler Classic Nationals

On November 30, 2019, Michigan AAU held its 1st Annual Gobbler Classic National wrestling tournament in Romulus, Michigan.

In our efforts to support AAU Cares, AAU Wrestling offered a discount on admission to anyone bringing a pair of mittens for donation to a local shelter.

Although the event was small, we are pleased with the support of the community. Twenty-five pairs of mittens, plus cash donations were made.

AAU Wrestling chose to donate to the Macomb County Rotating Emergency Shelter Team (MCREST) this year.
