Get ready for an action-packed wrestling extravaganza as the AAU Scholastic Community 2 Wrestling tournament descends upon the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. From June 23 to June 25, 2023, 47 teams will clash in an epic display of skill, determination, and raw athleticism. With eight pools featuring six teams each, the stage is set for an unforgettable showdown. Let's take a closer look at the teams and the previous placements of the top contenders as we anticipate a thrilling tournament.
Pool V - A Clash of Titans:
Pool V promises to be a battleground of fierce competition, as several formidable teams vie for supremacy. The defending champions, Somerset Academy, have demonstrated their mettle in previous years, securing the top spot the last three years. Their rivals include Dynamic Black, Montana Laurel, Oregon Clay Wrestling, Wakulla, and Yuligan, all of whom are eager to dethrone the reigning champions. With Somerset Academy's successful track record, their opponents will undoubtedly bring their A-game to challenge their dominance.

Pool W boasts an impressive lineup of teams, including Bonita Boys, Montana Senior, Richmond High, Rootstown Raiders, Terre Haute Red, and Verot Vikings. Last year's runners-up, Rootstown Raiders, will be looking to capitalize on their strong performance and secure the championship this time. However, they will face fierce opposition from the likes of Bonita Boys and Terre Haute Red, both determined to make their mark and surpass their previous achievements.

Brevard FCA- Island Style, Montana Sidney, Social Circle, Springboro 2, Tallahassee War Noles, and Terre Haute Black will engage in intense battles for a chance to progress to the championship bracket. Keep an eye on the talented squads from Montana SIdney (4th in 2021), Brevard FCA- Island Style and Social Circle (5th in 2021 and 2nd in 2019), who have demonstrated their prowess in previous tournaments and will undoubtedly make their presence felt.

Bubbletown Mat, CLAW, Columbus St. Francis DeSales, Montana Silver, Owen Valley, and Sunbear Wrestling will leave no stone unturned in their quest for victory. Columbus St. Francis DeSales, with their fourth-place finish in 2022, will look to build on their success and secure a spot in the championship bracket.
