For the second year in a row, AAU Music City Brawl Nationals will be a official AAU National Championship Tournament.

FRANKLIN, Tenn. (January 9, 2024) – For the fifteenth (15th) year, the AAU Music City Brawl Nationals took place. For the second year in a row the event was recognized as an official AAU National Championship Tournament. 958 individuals traveled to Franklin, Tennessee aimed at seizing the title of AAU National Champion. Wrestlers from 11 different states came to participate in this year’s event, which all kicked off on Saturday, January 6th. Wrestlers were divided into six (6) divisions: Tots, Bantams, Midget, Junior, Girls Division, and Middle School (Girls Division was K-2, 3-5, 6-8).
Of some of the wrestlers that competed a few names stood out as home state competitors that were able to celebrate a championship in their home state. Maddox Westenbarger of Blackman Wrestling Club took home an AAU National Title in the Midget 75 division. Maddox finished in 6th place in last years event and came back this year hungry to win an AAU National Title. Making his return for redemption was Neyland Street of TNWA took home 1st place in the Midget 60 division this year after finishing runner up in last year’s Midget 55 division.

Team Level Up led the field in winning percentage with a 8 win and 0 loss record. While the Williamson County Wrestling Club led the field in the most total match points with 801. This year’s performance helped them surpass their total points from last year of 744.
